[NEWS] EDUCATION: Spanish Scientists Question Accreditation Plan

Many in Spain’s scientific community are lobbying the country to change a new accreditation system for professors, complaining that it emphasizes nonresearch activities such as patenting, consulting, university management, and work in governmental and state agency offices.
